This 24.5 hectare property is situated in the Donkerpoort area, about 10 kilometers west of Modimole where the owners have successfully operated and managed a chicken hatchery as well as a multiple – award - winning poultry abattoir for the last six years. The poultry
abattoir was very recently awarded the South African National Halaal Certification and is therefore approved by SANHA.

Waste disposal systems incorporating an integral drainage facility

Six chicken pens with a holding capacity of up to 9000 chickens
Tha abattoir has the capacity to slaughter and process 5000 chickens per day
The red meat processing plant consists of the following:
Its own entrance as well as its own collection and delivery bay.
Its own sanitising booth
A large, fully equipped processing room with industrial strength meat hanging beams, stainless steel work benches, granite work tops, a biltong processing room, a cold storage room with built-in frame and freezer room.
There is also seperate packaging room with extra storage rooms adjacent to the said packaging room.
The abattoir has a shop area with roller-shutter doors, a large open plan work area with work stations also equipped with granite work tops, and numerous patio areas and walk ways.
Other out buildings and operational disciplines areas include:
Additional store rooms, workshops, private cold room, staff quarters, vehicle covered parking bays, 2 boreholes, both fully equipped as well as a seasonal stream feeding into an earth dam.
Three-phase Eskom power supply is at 50KVA.
