Farming infrastructure consists of a fully operational, latest technology, 30-point swing-over milking parlour system with a capacity of 800 cows per day, pre-cooled 36,000 litre storage capacity for milk in 2 stainless steel tanks, silo, large storage shed, closed shed and 6,000 sq. m under roof feeding area with a capacity to feed 1,200 cows, outbuildings and livestock handling facilities. The under-roof feeding loft is equipped with an innovative modern Flex-feed feeding system.

All the rainwater and effluent water from the milking parlour, under roof feeding lot and large roofs flow through a purification system from where it is pumped into an earth dam to be re-used as irrigation water. Manure is dried and spread on the irrigation areas, saving on fertiliser. All pasture camps are sub-divided into small areas for maximum fodder utilization with strip grazing and easy management.

An abundance of water is obtained from the Breede – Gouritz Water Scheme and registered water rights are 546,000 cubic meters per annum. Water is stored in 4 large earth dams. The opportunity to build another dam with a capacity of 233,700 cubic meters has been approved. This dam will be fed by an at tributary of the Klein River in the Goukou River System. About 80 hectares of permanent irrigation by floppy sprinklers is done under gravity. Another 140 hectares of dry land are planted with summer and winter crops.

The farm is operated as a high-potential dairy farm. The infrastructure is of the highest standard and fully operational. All farmlands are planted and used for grazing and production of feed to sell.
