Farm for Sale in Gouna AH

This exceptional 32.45 hectare private lifestyle and agricultural holding is situated at the edge of the indigenous Knysna forest. Elevated above the surrounding valley, the property enjoys breathtaking views across the natural landscape towards the Outeniqua Mountains, while its substantial landholding, natural surroundings and quality game fencing create an extraordinary sense of privacy and seclusion. This estate is distinguished as it delivers that rare combination of land, architecture, nature, self-sufficiency and established agricultural infrastructure. At its heart is a beautifully renovated six-bedroom residence of approximately 233.62m², enhanced by about 104m² of decking. The original farmhouse and contemporary wing form an attractive L-shaped home oriented to the landscape, offering five en-suite bathrooms, generous family and entertainment spaces, a modern kitchen with separate scullery and an additional kitchen, a guest cloakroom and two fireplaces; every bedroom opens to the garden and surrounding views. A separate two-bedroom guest cottage—with its own bathroom, spacious lounge, fireplace, covered stoep and private braai area—provides flexible accommodation, complemented by a one-bedroom workers’ cottage. This premium property has been developed with an impressive degree of independence. It is fully off grid, supported by a sophisticated Victron solar system comprising approximately 30 solar panels and 30kWh of battery storage, together with a 22kVA super-silent diesel generator. Water security is equally significant, with approximately 85,000 litres of water storage and five dams. Agricultural opportunities include organic crop and vegetable production using a 25m x 75m growing tunnel (approximately 1,875m²) and vegetable garden, beekeeping, grazing and livestock management in paddocks and three sheep sheds, and poultry production in a chicken enclosure. A 213m² powered steel portal-frame shed, with approximately 186m² of main floor space and a 27m² mezzanine, supports machinery and vehicle storage, agricultural equipment, general storage and workshop activities. This home offers an established premium private lifestyle estate with genuine agricultural functionality and a high degree of self-sufficiency — a place where a beautifully considered home, productive land, guest accommodation and substantial infrastructure exist within an extraordinary natural setting.
