There are two possible access routes to the farm from the R354 between Matjiesfontein and Sutherland:
1. The first entrance is from the northern mountain side of the R354.
2. The second entrance is further along the R354, where the road runs through the kloofs.

There is one neighbouring property that requires a right of way over this land to access the rear farm in the mountains.

Incredibly scenic river courses support natural wildlife such as kudu, grey rhebok, duiker, steenbok, klipspringer, and other Karoo wildlife species.

Topography and veld
The topography consists mainly of a high mountain slope, hills, secluded valleys, and river sections.
The Kareekloof River runs through the farm and flows into the Twanka River.
Kloofs and riverbeds support acacia trees, karee trees, various grass species, natural pasture, and beautiful winter wildflowers.
Grass species include spear grass, couch grass, foxtail grass, and red oat grass.

Unique koenie bushes provide excellent shelter and potential for camping or recreational sites.

The shrubveld consists of ankerkaroo, kapokbos, blue daisy, thorn kapok, cat thorn, blasiebrak, thorn vygie, and sheep vygie, which produce beautiful purple flowers during October and November.
Other vegetation includes bietou bush, ganna bush, klappiesbrak, and melkbosneta.
