The orchards produce a fine 300 ton harvest, which is picked and
bought by a local packing agent.
Renowned architect Gilbert Colyn started renovations on the main house in 1994
with the house being 230 years old at the time.
High quality materials, including a variety of hard woods and Batavian clay tiles
were used throughout the new house.
The main house consists of 2 massive bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms
and with doors opening to the breathtaking gardens outside.
The house has an enormous kitchen, with a built-in braai and ample storage space.
Every room has air-conditioning including the kitchen.
The living room and both bedrooms have access to a stunning porch
covered with a vine canopy that overlooks the orchards and gardens.
Next to the house is a spacious office with en-suite bathroom which
can easily be transformed into 2 apartments if need be.
There is a triple garage, laundry room and storage room available.
Situated away from the main house, with a separate road entrance
is the three old farmhouse style guest accommodation.
The three houses being Die Stal, Die Ou Huis and Die Waenhuis
is 4 star accommodation and sleep 4-6 people, 4-5 people and 2-4 people respectively.
Visitors can use any of a number of outdoor braai areas, wander through the gardens,
lounge by the swimming pool, go mountain biking or sit inside
by a cosy fireplace on cold winter nights.
The farm has a 70kva generator available that can provide the whole farm
with electricity during load shedding.
